When the property was still a working ranch, apparently a hired hand killed the owners and guests. Several strange apparitions have been reported including a recurring bloodstain on the bathroom wall, as well as a woman in white who is seen near the guest rooms. A child also apparently died there by being kicked by a horse; a baby crying is heard there frequently (with no living child present) and the apparition of the two-year old girl is seen frequently. A white glowing man on a white glowing horse has also been seen in the mountains in the area around the lodge. | ||

Jerome Community Center | In this very small town, residents reportedly refer to their community center as "Spook Hall" due to the sightings of a female ghost there. This town is reported to have a large number of hauntings. At one time a newspaper was even published called the "Jerome Ghost Post." | ||

Apparently this church was built on top of ancient Indian Burial Grounds. Indian spirits and apparitions are said to haunt this church and have been seen by many parishioners. One man appears frequently, wrapped in an old blanket, and on one occasion a whole tribe of Indians appeared during a rehearsal and filled the first few pews. It was not known that there was a burial ground on the site until some sewer lines were being repaired. Artifacts over a thousand years old were found. | ||

A young woman, dressed for dancing, apparently threw herself off the roof of the building in the late 1920’s due to a lost love. Ever since her death, there have been reports of strange apparitions, breezes, and a white, ghostly woman’s figure being seen throughout the hotel. Accounts of her death in the newspapers of the time vary tremendously. Some theorize that she was pushed to her death, rather than jumping. | ||

This hotel opened in 1927. Not long after, a couple on their honeymoon checked in to room 426. The husband left on an "errand," the story goes, and never came back. After a few days, the wife hung herself on the balcony of the room. Her spirit is still sensed there frequently, and at times her crying is heard in and around the room. She is sometimes seen in the lounge, as well. | ||
