City/Town   Location   Paranormal Activity

Batesville
(Independence Co.)
Liberty Baptist Church and Cemetery   Many mysterious lights have been reported in this cemetery. There have been reports of the apparition of an old woman sitting in a rocking chair in the upstairs window of the church. The apparition of a little boy has been seen in the cemetery and he sometimes appears in photographs taken there. Churchgoers report that lights go on and off in the church repeatedly for no reason.

Clarendon
(Monroe Co.)
Monroe County Courthouse   The ghost of a woman who supposedly took an overdose of morphine provided by the sheriff rather than endure a public lynching that she was facing for killing her husband is said to haunt the lower floors of the courthouse. She can often be seen and heard crying.

Eureka Springs
(Carroll Co.)
  Crescent Hotel
75 Prospect Ave
An Irish Stonemason was said to have landed in/on Room 218 when he fell to his death during the hotel’s construction. His apparition has been seen here and he is reported to bang on walls and turn the lights and television on and off. There have also been entities sighted and reported in room 202 and room 424. This building was also a hospital and health resort in the 1930's and the ghost of the man who ran it, Dr. Norman Baker, has been said to appear here often. A woman in room 419 has been said to introduce herself to guests and staff of the hotel as a cancer patient, and then she vanishes.

Hot Springs
(Garland Co.)
Mayberry Inn   Former owner David Mayberry apparently went insane and killed his wife and child. Many people died on the property due to gunfights, etc., and reported hauntings abound. Supposedly one can hear the wife’s voice crying hysterically every night at midnight and also a child screaming from the basement. Other apparitions have been seen here also.

Paragould
(Greene Co.)
Arkansas Methodist Medical Center   Lifelike apparitions of children, sometimes in groups, have been sighted and sometimes talk to people in the hospital. An apparition of a confederate soldier was seen in one of the rooms as well. Strange things have reportedly happened in the Intensive Care Unit and an adult ghost has been seen on the fifth floor.
