Charles Island | A series of misfortunes with no explanation have happened to every building put here, including a monastery where there were numerous suicides, mysterious deaths, and unexplained episodes of insanity by the monks, as well as a restaurant that burned while under construction. Glowing apparitions are still reported by hikers there, and sometimes music is heard near the ruins of the restaurant. No further buildings have been attempted there. An Indian curse was said to be put on the land long ago. | ||

The Whitehall Mansion was built in the late 1700’s and is reportedly haunted by the ghost of Lucy, the original owner’s daughter. Orbs and/or floating clouds have been seen and the sound of children laughing (when no children are in the vicinity) have been reported. | ||

Fort Nathan Hale | The scene of a civil war battle, green glowing orbs have been photographed and reported on numerous occasions near underground, gated-off bunkers. The ghosts of soldiers have also been seen on the beach and outside the bunkers. | ||

Many orbs and ghostly images have been captured on film in this building. There have been many reports of footsteps coming downstairs when the building was known to be empty. There have also been moans heard on numerous occasions and the sound of peoples’ names being called. Most activity seems to be in the basement. | ||

Meridian Avenue (Private Home) | One family who lived in this former funeral home had horrible experiences including feelings of being groped and grabbed at, personality changes in the children, (which led to an exorcism) and spectral people working on non-existent dead bodies in the house. Other families who lived there since reported some paranormal activity but nothing as full fledged as the family from the mid 1980’s. | ||
