Old Jail | A man who was put to death here can be heard moaning at times near where the gallows once was. His apparition has reportedly been seen occasionally, with a neck wound gaping and covered in blood. This is reportedly the ghost of Luc Simone Aury, who was nearly decapitated during his hanging. | ||

Biltmore Hotel | Stories abound of hauntings at this famous hotel. It has been, among other things, a veteran’s hospital. Soldiers were treated there during World War II. Many apparitions have been seen and inexplicable occurrences taken place, including photographs of orbs, unexplained lights, disabled elevators taking people to the wrong floor, and many other similar experiences. | ||

Bay Street Theater | Many reports of apparitions including a ghostly man hanging from a rope here. Stage lights have turned themselves on and off and operated themselves when the lighting board was unmanned. Screams have been heard in upstairs rooms and orbs have been witnessed. | ||

Las Ollas River Walk | This location is now a museum and numerous detailed apparitions have been seen and described. These are said to be very lifelike individuals including a young girl with long curly hair and a man wearing a duster coat pacing the lower hallways. | ||

The Jockey Club | Residents have reported unexplained apparitions, lights turning off and footsteps heard when they are alone. Security was summoned because of a loud argument in the garage once, when they arrived, they could hear the shouting but there was no one there. | ||
