  Poland Spring Inn   This Inn is said to be haunted by Hiram Ricker, the first owner and founder of Poland Spring Water Company. Several guests, employees, and local residents have reported seeing his apparition in the inn and on the grounds.

York
(York Co.)
  York Village Historical Museum   A woman is said to have been hung for witchcraft in front of this building in colonial days. She is called the “white witch” by locals and is said to be a friendly ghost despite her brutal death. She has been seen by many visitors to the museum as well as by children who stay at what is now a day care center across the street from the museum.
