In 1986, the current owners called the police several times when they heard doors opening and people walking inside the bed and breakfast before they realized that the Inn was haunted. Police never found people when they were called. The back staircase of the house and a closet on the third floor are said to be the center of most activity. | ||

This huge hotel with 500 plus rooms first opened in 1911 and people have reported ghost sightings ever since the 1920’s. The hotel is said to be inhabited by the ghost of a woman called Effie, who supposedly committed suicide by jumping out the window after being locked in a hotel room by the manager she was having an affair with. Men have reported being propositioned by an unseen female. | ||
