  More than one person has reported the ghost of a man in their room. It is thought that he was the original owner of the house and that he’s haunting his old bedroom. Lights have been known to come on of their own accord and guests have seen full body apparitions. He is said to be a friendly ghost.

  The Menger Hotel
204 Alamo Plaza
  The Victorian wing of this hotel is said to be haunted by a ghost who was once a chambermaid at the hotel and who was killed by her husband in 1876. Reportedly it is in the Hotel’s official records that it paid the funeral expenses for this woman when she died. She has been seen in full body apparition on many occasions.
