Manchester Village
(Bennington Co.)
The Equinox   This hotel was built in the late 1700s and Mary Todd Lincoln and the Lincoln children are said to have spent two summers here. People have reported seeing the ghostly figures of a woman and children which are said to match the descriptions of Mary Todd Lincoln and her children. The Lincoln family had numerous ties to this area, which continued even after the assassination of President Lincoln.

  Brass Lantern Inn
717 Maple St.
Many guests over the years have reported hearing a group of people coming in late at night and talking loudly about the good time that they have had at a party. It is said that every time staff of the inn are informed about this, the ghostly party people are making reference to the same room, and that every time, there is no one staying in the room.
